Food is a meaningful part of our lives, deeply connected to culture, emotions, and memory. Because of this, our relationship with food often extends beyond basic physical hunger. At its core, food provides energy and nourishment—and when approached with care, it can also support healing. My name is Ella Gilboa, and I am a NYC-based registered dietitian. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, providing nutrition support for a wide range of health conditions. Nutrition can often feel confusing, overwhelming, and full of conflicting messages. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. Instead, I tailor my work to each client’s unique needs, goals, and cultural background. My passion lies in helping individuals and families navigate nutrition in a way that is personalized, sustainable, and empowering.

I prioritize a client-centered approach that empowers you to trust yourself and make informed choices that align with your unique health and nutrition goals.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll explore your health history, food habits, and the reasons you’re seeking support. I aim to understand your experiences with food, your daily life, and what you hope to shift or strengthen. I like to empower my clients to fully understand their bodies—their physiology, diagnoses, and the science behind how things work—so they can approach health with clarity and hope. I also provide practical tools, education, and handouts to help you build skills you can use in everyday life.

INITIAL ASSESSMENT
Virtual session\60 minutes\$200
In your initial assessment, we will review your previous medical history, labs, family history, and nutrition habits and discuss goals. We will work together on setting an attainable plan based on your individual needs and conditions. I will provide you with current scientific-based nutrition knowledge and suggest creative ways to weave new habits into your existing lifestyle.
HOME VISIT
In-person session\ NYC Area only

A home visit can include different aspects of nutrition-related practices, whether to assess your basic pantry items, cooking ideas, or observing your and your family's meal time to identify areas for growth. This service can be built according to your desires. Schedule your 15 min consultation to discuss in more details.
FOLLOW UP ASSESMENT
Virtual session\30 minutes\$100
In the follow-up session we will review your progress and talk about challenges and successes that came up since our initial session. If needed, we will adjust the plan and goals to better fit our continued work together
GROCERY SHOPPING WITH ELLA

Grocery shopping can be an overwhelming experience, understanding how to plan, what items to purchase, how to read food labels, and more. In this 1.5-hour session, we will go grocery shopping together. I will guide you into some favorite items, suggest recipes, and provide you with the confidence to shop for food.
